Miu Miu fashion show. A photo of the two stars looking extra fabulous became an instant meme on Tumblr, with one user saying, "They look like they're in a heist movie with Rihanna as the tough-as-nails leader/master thief and Lupita as the genius computer hacker."http://elizabitchtaylor.tumblr.com/post/90856351997/they-look-like-theyre-in-a-heist-movie-with
Two years later, that buddy film concept made its way to Twitter.
Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scans https://t.co/PhWs1xd3nj— kateria 🌸 (@1800SADGAL) April 18, 2017
This caught the attention of Nyong'o, who said she was down for the idea if Rihanna was game (she was.)

And through viral determination, Twitter users built their own movie and put together a dream team of black women. All of us thank you.
"After a dramatic negotiation session at the Cannes Film Festival, Netflix has nabbed a film project pairing Grammy winner Rihanna with Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, in a concept that began as a Twitter sensation," Entertainment Weekly reported. "Ava DuVernay (Selma) will direct, and Issa Rae (Insecure) is writing the screenplay."
My heart can't handle Celine Dion
Sunday's Billboard Music Awards was full of some pretty "eh" moments.
Then Celine Dion took the stage.
Dion brought us all back to ‘97 when she performed My Heart Will Go On while clips from Titanic played behind her for the film's 20th anniversary special. There was a massive chandelier. Giant white angelic shoulder pads. Young Leonardo DiCaprio. And so many tears. Other celebs also couldn't handle the emotional performance, hosts Vanessa Hudgens started crying on stage and Ludacris calling for an extra round of applause. Even Drake, who took home a record-breaking 13 trophies, was star struck by the performance. In an adorable video posted on Twitter, Drake gushed over Dion backstage.

"You're very iconic. We love you. I'm like a year away from a Celine tat," he said pointing at his rib cage.
And speaking of 'Titanic'
Titanic's director James Cameron is reportedly being sued for $300 million by a man who claims to be the inspiration behind the Jack Dawson character.
You're two decades too late, dude.
A Florida man, Stephen Cummings, said he believes he inspired DiCaprio's character in the film and that Cameron stole Cummings' family history to create the characters of Jack and Rose. The "ex-yacht master," according to TMZ, also says the film's depiction of the sinking isn't based on historical evidence, but based on stories he told his friends back in the late '80s about his two relatives that were on the ship.
He also wants 1 percent of all royalties. Good luck with that.

We did not have the time of our lives
The made-for-TV remake of the 1987 classic Dirty Dancing aired Wednesday on ABC, and plenty of people loved to hate watch it. The reboot, starring Abigail Breslin as Baby, didn't know if it was a musical or not, and the dirty dancing wasn't all that dirty.
We all knew it was going to be bad, but just how bad? Let's turn our attention to Twitter:

Dani Mathers gets to clean up a whole lot of graffiti
The former Playboy playmate has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor invasion of privacy charge. Mathers, 30, secretly took a photo back in July of a naked 71-year-old woman in a gym locker room and body shamed her on Snapchat.
She captioned the photo, "If I can't unsee this then you can't either."
Mathers was sentenced to three years probation and has been ordered to complete 30 hours of graffiti cleanup.
Cash me outside' girl gets a tour?
Danielle Bregoli, who rose to Internet stardom after he appeared on the Dr. Phil Show and threatened audience members, is now cashing in on her catch phrase.
Without any notable talents to speak of, Bregoli is going on tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will reportedly consist of the Boynton Beach teen
lip-syncing to her favorite songs and answering questions.
Bregoli's demands, according to TMZ, includes a stay at a 4 star hotel or better, $3,000 for security costs and a $750 per diem.
She has also demanded three fidget spinners (she is 14), four large Domino's pizzas, five white tank tops, a 50" TV with a DVD player, a Netflix hookup and a large fruit bowl with no pineapples.
Now for some talented kids lip-syncing
Four of the stars from Netflix's Stranger Things appeared on Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle this week. The adorable Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) is peek middle school boy levels of awkward while singing along to Weezer's Buddy Holly. As for the rest of the cast, Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) performs LL Cool J's I'm Bad, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) takes on Train and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) mouths the words to Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger.
And the singer who should have lip-synced
Justin Bieber recently collaborated with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Lankee, and sang in Spanish on their hit track, Despacito.
Unfortunately for the Biebs, while performing in a New York City nightclub Wednesday night, he forgot the Spanish lyrics to the song and thought it best to just sing "blah blah blah."
Bieber then ad-libbed to the song, singing "I don't know the words so I say ‘Dorito'" and "I ate a burrito, I just want a burrito."
That obviously didn't sit well with a lot of fans, and many called out the Sorry singer for mocking Spanish culture.
